We're thrilled to host a poetry reading and book signing with Franny Choi, celebrating the publication of her new book Soft Science. Joining her will be Eve L. Ewing, Krista Franklin, and Emily Jungmin Yoon.

Skilled paper-cut artist Lucy P. Liu has a wealth of experience demonstrating and teaching the art of Chinese paper-cut. Join us for this workshop and make your own paper-cut!

The tournament will consist 2 hours of bowling with optional warm-up and 2 games. The individual winners and the winning teams will be awarded with exciting prizes such as gift cards or cash.

Sugimoto draws inspiration from Lennie Tristano, Ornette Coleman, Japanese folk and popular songs, and classical compositions. She continues to channel these inspirations and others into writing for her new quartet.

Our Perspective: Asian American Play Readings presents this one time only workshop intended for Asian Pacific Americans who want an introduction to play writing.

The event features Japanese multidisciplinary artist and scholar, Mami Takahashi. Ms. Takahashi will offer a presentation about kimono, including history, the different types of kimono, seaonality, and how to wear kimono.
