This class is for beginners who have not crocheted before, or those for those who need a refresher.

In this class we will learn:

Tools and materials
Jargon
The foundation chain
Single crochet stitch
Slipknot
Slipstitch
Increasing
Decreasing
Reading a pattern

After this course you will be ready for the Amigurumi Course. Which will continue with new and exciting projects.

Age: 14 years of age and beyond

Instructor’s Bio:

Renée Blixt has studied crochet, knitting and embroidery from an early age. She is a member of the Crochet Guild, The Knitting Guild Association and the Embroidery Guild of America.

Ms. Blixt has taught for many years most notably at the School of the Art Institute.

She finds these Arts to be a form of meditation and is happy to share this art with the others.
