Chemical X - Free Audition Workshop! KPOP + JPOP

Hello Everyone! It’s that time again! Chemical X is excited to announce that we will be holding another FREE DANCE WORKSHOP, this time with the intent of finding new members!

This workshop will be divided into three parts. For the first section, we will be teaching a JPOP piece. This first section is OPTIONAL, but is very important if you are interested in our JPOP activities and participating in learning it will help increase your overall chances in being chosen for our team! For the second and third sections, we will be teaching pieces from one KPOP girl group song and one KPOP boy group song. This is so that we can assess your versatility in KPOP dance! These two sections will be REQUIRED in order to be considered! Each section will be about 30-40 seconds of choreography.

The event is open to EVERYONE of all ages, however you must be 16+ to be considered for our team. This is primarily an audition, but the workshop can be taken just for fun / experience as well!

Filling this out does not mean you have to audition, but anyone who is auditioning will have to fill out an application by SUNDAY 9/22 at 11:59pm, or else you will not be considered. We will have registration at the beginning, middle and end of the workshop where we you will list your Email so that we can send you an application if you hadn’t filled one out yet.

The workshop will begin at 5:00pm and end at around 8:00pm. We are holding it at Puzzle Box Studio in Chicago! Please wear comfortable dance clothes and shoes, and bring water to stay hydrated! As usual, we will all be breaking out a sweat and having a great time!

Can’t make the audition? We will be opening the auditions to ONLINE entries as well! Please fill out the application above and select “Online Audition” when asked. We will announce the ONLINE AUDITION DETAILS as well as the songs for the pieces we will be teaching at the live audition workshop a little closer to the date! So please, stay tuned!
