The National Cambodian Heritage Museum and Killing Fields Memorial would like to invite you to the Healing through the Arts: Winter Fundraiser at the Irish American Heritage Museum on Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at 1 pm. Your support will help benefit the programs of the museum. There are also other opportunities to contribute to our event. This year, the museum will be celebrating its recent successes and highlights from our healing arts program.

The museum will feature performances by the Tep Nimitt Dance Troupe, music performed by resident artist, Punisa Pov, and a display of cultural masks made by Mr. Narath Tan. In 2004, the Cambodian Association of Illinois (CAI) established the first and only museum and memorial in the US dedicated to the 2.5+ million lives lost during the Killing Fields era (1975-79).

In 2015, NCHM became its own 501 (c )(3) non-profit organization. It has continued to serve as a place of healing for the many Cambodian survivors from the Killing Fields era, and an opportunity to educate newer generations about genocide, survivor trauma, and the arts and cultural work that has been a part of the Cambodian cultural history and identity.

There will also be a raffle drawing at our event. Prizes will include donations from Lou Malnati's, Trader Joe's, Koval Distillery, Eli's Cheescake, Joffrey Ballet, First Ascent Climbing, and many more!!!!!!

Come out and participate in our raffle even if you couldn't make it to our event.

Winner will be announced at our event. Go to the ticket link on the event page to purchase your event tickets and / or raffle tickets!
