Feeling Forms in Memory

Prak-sis Gallery is having an exhibit of SOLO Mi-yeon Kwon. Mi-yeon Kwon is the executive director of Prak-sis Gallery. Since Kwon's not for profit art organization of Prak-sis Contemporary Art Association founded in 2009, her art career covers in public art, none traditional gallery art exhibitions, curatorial exhibitions, and international art fairs. Current gallery location at 16 W. Ontario Chicago, IL 60654, her main focus is in GACI art project which helps artists to participate in international art market. In her solo exhibition coming up on Sept 15th opening reception, Kwon will exhibit ceramic bowls of One Thousand Bowl Project and her paintings that co-existing with her heart with clay work. One Thousand Bowl Project is symbolic metaphor of new beginning and foundation of a study or one stage of one's life. Kown states, "I would love to strengthen the connections between communities by this project as we share meals." 

The show will run until October 28th, 2017. This show will be the last show in this gallery location. The opening reception will be held 6 - 10 pm on Sept 16th, 2017 during EXPO Chicago week.
