The performance itself is 45 minutes and we will have about about half an hour or so for conversation.

Ada Cheng was a tenured professor in sociology at DePaul University in Chicago for 15 years (2001-2016). She has been featured at storytelling shows in Chicago and Atlanta. She has also told stories at The Moth in Chicago, New York, Denver, and Detroit. In addition to storytelling, she is a member of the improv house team at McKaw Theater in Chicago. She is also facilitating a writer’s workshop at The Crowd Theater. She is committed to helping people, especially midlifers, embrace their fear about uncertainty and pursue their dreams of living authentic lives.
