Enjoy an evening with Kundiman poets and explore the diverse world of contemporary Asian American poetry. Sarah Gambito cofounded Kundiman, a nonprofit organization serving writers and readers of Asian American literature. She is the author of the poetry collections LOVES YOU, DELIVERED, and MATADORA; her honors include a Barnes & Noble Writers for Writers Award from Poets & Writers and a Wai Look Award for Outstanding Service to the Arts from the Asian American Arts Alliance. Janine Joseph is the author of DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE, recipient of a Kundiman Poetry Prize and an Eric Hoffer da Vinci Eye award. She is a co-organizer for Undocupoets, is an assistant professor of creative writing at Oklahoma State University, and serves on the advisory board for the Center for Poets and Writers at Oklahoma State University–Tulsa. There will be an ASL interpreter at this event.
