In An American Dream (Perla), a young girl’s doll becomes her sole connection to her culture and the home she was forced to leave behind.

In this interactive storytelling workshop, participants will hear real stories of survival from Japanese Americans incarcerated during World War II, and then have the opportunity to craft their own stories of home, with the help of professional storyteller Beth Horner.
