Join us for Southeast Asian Perseverance Week! Celebrate the stories of Southeast Asian refugees & the Southeast Asian Diaspora!

SEA Art Gallery:
There will be an art gallery in the DePaul APIDA Center Monday, April 29th - Friday, May 3rd showcasing art & literary pieces from Southeast Asian Diaspora!

Vietnamerica Film Screening & Discussion:
On Tuesday, April 30th, from 6-8pm, there will be a screening of the film, Vietnamerica in the DePaul APIDA Center! The film focuses on the story of Vietnamese boat people, so come learn more about Vietnamese refugees in America! There will be food at the screening! Bring yourself & your friends! After the screening, there will be a discussion facilitated by Patricia Nguyen, a professor from Northwestern!

Interview Mini Film:
To wrap things up, there will be a screening of a student made mini film of SEA diaspora folks retelling their family stories and sharing their diaspora experiences! This will be on Friday, May 3rd from 3-5pm at the APIDA Center!
