As part of the LookOut Series, Talk Stories presents storytellers of Asian descent from diverse identities and backgrounds. They will critically examine what it means to be Asian/Asian American in this country and in diaspora. While celebrating their own cultural traditions, storytellers of various forms, including music, dance, narratives, and improv theatre highlight and reflect on the structural conditions that have shaped their individual and collective experiences.

A platform for expert performers and first-time storytellers alike, Talk Stories seeks to bridge the gap between community and performance, and it works to bring the art of storytelling to the diverse Asian/Asian American communities (and encourage them to participate as well!).

With the April show, we will be featuring an organization NAPAWF (National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum) and the important work the staff are doing both locally and nationally.  Here is more information about their work:  https://www.napawf.org/
