UIC aKDPhi: 773 Night Market 2019

The sisters of alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc. would like to invite you to our first ever 773 Night Market!

What is 773 Night Market?

773 Night Market is the first showcase festival that recognizes outstanding, highly motivated, talented, and ambitious Asians and Asian Americans in the Chicago Community. This is a unique festival that serves as a purpose for the Asian community to represent the underrepresented and showcase the variety of talents across the nation. It supports the collaboration of separate cultures all in one place. The festival will allow individuals to showcase their talents and for the Chicago community to support one another to take pride in each other’s culture. This festival is not only to celebrate our unique melting pot community within the Chicagoland area, but to also shine light on the many talents not often praised within the Asian community.

There will be interactive booths and live performances.

Throughout the event guests will also get to choose the “Best Booth” and “Best Performance.” Each winner will get $50 of prize money.

Time: 6:30PM
Location: MAC Gym - University of Illinois at Chicago Recreation Center
Enter through the North Entrance of the Venue (towards the left side of the main entrance)
Cost: FREE! (Must bring a form of picture Id to enter the building)

Tickets are $1 each OR $5 for 6 tickets!

If you would like to split your tickets up (Example: buy $5 worth of tickets and have 3 go into the Target Gift Card and the other three go into the Customized hoodie) please put it down below in the raffles section below.

You will be given your raffle ticket(s) at the event on Thursday, April 25th. You must be at the event in order to receive the raffle ticket. There are no refunds. In addition, you must be present to claim your prize.

This year we are so proud to announce that we will be having a special guest performer! Jofred, an Asian rapper from Chicago, will be participating in our show! Not only will he be doing an acoustic performance, but also talk about his experiences being an Asian American.
