Disoriented Comedy is the first-ever (mostly) female Asian American stand-up comedy tour. Since its first show in July 2012, this national network of veteran up-and-coming comedians have performed in over fifty independently-produced comedy and storytelling shows at comedy clubs, theaters, colleges and universities.

Asian horror films have long set the bar through their creation of creative and thought-provoking pieces that speak to longing, fear, and desire in subversive manners.
In this storytelling basics workshop, we will discuss basic tenets of this art form, such as detailed descriptions, basic story arc, emotions, relationships with the audience, and purpose of storytelling.
This experimental piece focuses on the presentation of self; exploring ideas of pedagogy, identity and gender presentation using the aesthetics of Japanese classical dance and Japanese cart puppetry (kuruma ningyo) as a lift off point.
