Jin Woo Yoon, woodwork artist from Busan, Korea will hold his 19th solo exhibition at the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago. He is an award-winning artist in Korea and has held 18 solo exhibitions and participated in approximately 150 group exhibitions. Yoon has been recognized in Korea as woodwork master in 2022. The reason he chose this city for his exhibition is because the city of Busan and Chicago are sister cities. His main goal for this exhibition is to promote Korea with his talents and to share the desire to attract the Busan Expo coming up in 2030. As for his plans while here in Chicago is to carve a pair of good luck totem pole for the cultural center. Opening reception will be help on Saturday July 1, 2023, at 5pm.
