Why Root To Fruit

Our history grounds us to know who we are today and who we can be in the future. Roots define our heritage, and as immigrants, we grow new roots in a new land. We know we are stronger together, so we support each other, our culture, and our community, and build collective power to contribute to our society. We invite you to join us!

The Audience

Hana Center’s inaugural fundraising gala provides sponsors with visibility among a diverse and multi-generation of engaged and active community members. Over 300 guests will gather to celebrate the newly merged Hana Center with its combined accomplishments and vision for impactful work ahead. In attendance will be community leaders, members, supporters, elected officials, program funders, local media, and our donors.

Your Sponsorship Makes A Big Difference

Please sponsor Hana Center at a level you feel comfortable with supporting because all sponsorship levels make an impact in our community. For example:

  • $500 sponsors 40 hours of the Immigrant Rapid Response Hotline, which provides 24-hour crisis support to youth and their families from anti-immigrant executive orders, or$500 provides transportation for two field trips for 40 Hana Center Early Childhood Center preschool students.
  • $1,000 supports Hana Center to provide the Know Your Rights training to a minimum of 200 immigrant community members and connect them to critical legal services, or $1,000 enables 20 low-income seniors to keep their homes warm during winter months, access public benefits, and receive translation/interpretation services for their important documents for a full year.
  • $2,000 facilitates Asian American and immigrant youth to develop relationships with Black youth through 3 cultural exchange and open discussion sessions to work toward breaking down barriers and achieving racial justice, or$2,000 empowers 10 survivors of domestic violence and their children to get counseling, develop financial capacity, and build a new life free of violence.
  • $10,000 sustains Hana Center’s Integrated Voter Empowerment program that provides on-going bilingual support to 15,000 low-income and limited English speaking immigrants to powerfully advocate for immigrant rights, or $10,000 sustains a critical six-week bilingual and bicultural training program for 10 family caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
