The Consulate General of the Philippines, in partnership with the Philippine American Cultural Foundation (PACF), would like to invite the Filipino-American community and the general public to the kickoff celebration of the Filipino American History Month (FAHM) on Monday, 01 October 2018, 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm at the James R. Thompson Center (concourse level) located at 100 W. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601.

The event is graciously hosted by the Office of the Governor of State of Illinois as part of the official Illinois Bicentennial celebration 2018.

The month-long FAHM celebration is made possible by virtue of S. Resolution 298 passed by the US Senate on 01 October 2009, and H. Resolution 780 passed by the US House of Representatives on 02 November 2009, both recognizing October as Filipino American History Month.
