Celebrate a dual anniversary event with a legendary double feature of two historic films, with special guests and Godzilla themed snackboxes by 2D Restaurant.

  • 2:30 PM Intermission, Bento Box Pick Up, & Godzilla Exhibition
  • 3:30 PM Screening of 1964 Mothra Vs. Godzilla
  • 5:00 PM Optional Post Movie Discussion

Special Guest Chuck Valauskas, co-curator of the exhibition Bibliosaurus: Dinosaurs in the Popular Imagination, will share movie insights and highlight the cultural significance of Godzilla throughout 70 years of history.

This event is sponsored by The Brothers Valauskas and 2D Restaurant. Proceeds will benefit the Japanese American Service Committee, celebrating 80 years of preserving and raising awareness of Japanese American culture and heritage to the greater multicultural community of Chicago.
