We are pleased to announce that the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Chicago Area (“AABA Chicago”) will be hosting its 35th Annual Installation Ceremony on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the University Club of Chicago. This annual dinner recognizes esteemed colleagues in our legal community as well as our incoming officers, board of directors, and honorary directors.

Our 2023 award recipients are Rudy Figueroa (In-House Counsel Leadership Award), Eirene Nakamura Salvi (Rising Star Award), Peter Ohr (Justice Award), and Avanti Bakane (Law Firm Partner Diversity Leadership Award).

For over thirty years, AABA Chicago has played a pivotal role in encouraging diversity, promoting the area’s vibrant legal community, and representing the interests of thousands of community stakeholders. In large part, we are able to pursue and advance our mission due to your generous support. As AABA Chicago hosts its 2023 Installation Ceremony, we hope that you will support us by attending this event.

This year, we have partnered with the AABA Law Foundation and a portion of the profits from this event will be donated to the Foundation whose mission is to support the development of Asian Pacific American law students through the Foundation’s scholarship program.

We hope that you will join us in celebrating AABA Chicago at its 35th Annual Installation Ceremony.
