Asian Fashion Show Chicago 2024

Asian Fashion Show Chicago (AFSC) is a 100% AAPI designer and model fashion show operated by 501(c)3 non-profit Chicago Asian Women Empowerment (Chi-AWE). We are a space that recognizes and celebrates AAPIs in fashion. Our 2024 show will be on October 12 at Wilson Abbey and it'll be in partnership with Chicago Fashion Week, Choose Chicago, and the City of Chicago.

WHO WE ARE

AAPIs are not well-represented in the mainstream fashion industry, from print ads to commercials, to runways. We're shifting the status quo.

We're a fashion show that promotes AAPIs in the fashion industry. Our show consists of 100% AAPI designers and 100% AAPI models.

But we are more than just a fashion show. We are a space where AAPI faces can be recognized and celebrated. Our models and designers represent the diversity of the AAPI community in background, ethnicity, body type, height, skin tone, and more. Our show is a place for our community to celebrate, to make a statement, to heal, and to take space. We will be heard and our creativity will be expressed. We are proud to be AAPIs in fashion.
