After hearing an impassioned speech about climate change by his classmate, Kokoa, 10-year-old Yuishi tries to impress her by taking up her cause. But when their actions in the name of the environment go a little too far, the adults are forced to get involved.

A modern Mark Twain-esque tale of childhood mischief in the name of a noble cause, Mipo O’s lighthearted comedy is a spirited film that shows how hot-button issues and love are seen from children’s perspective. By filming her young actors at a child’s height, O literally puts herself in her young protagonists’ shoes rather than looking down as an adult.
