WHAT: Close out the Lunar New Year Season with a FREE, Family-Friendly Lantern Festival Celebration! See the Chicago Cultural Center's Iconic Preston Bradley Hall transformed into a celebratory space in honor of lunar new year, and enjoy performances of lion dance, martial arts, music, dance, and more. Also browse vendor booths, the CFAS marketplace, and enjoy a selfie station, Chinese calligraphy, crafts, food and more.

WHY: Presented in partnership with Choose Chicago, and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, this event concludes the Chinese Fine Art Society’s Lunar New Year programming of 2023 and provides Chicagoans with an opportunity to learn about. We will also celebrate the spring lantern festival, which is often a traditional conclusion to lunar new year festivities.
