DePaul 2026 Lunar New Year Gala

Join us at DePaul 2026 Lunar New Year Gala for a night of festive vibes, cultural performances, and mouthwatering food.

Welcome to DePaul's 18th annual celebration of Lunar New Year! All DePaul students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and friends are welcome to join the community to ring in the new year of the Horse. The 2026 event will feature buffet dinner and cultural performances. Free and open to the public. RSVP is required.

Please wear something red to join the fun and take nice photos. If you were born in a year of the Horse (2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, and 1954, etc), please show your ID and submit your name to our check-in staff upon check-in. We will randomly pick 10 guests and give you a Year of the Horse souvenir after the cultural performances.

Parking:
There are metered parking and free parking space around the building. Non-DePaul visitors can also park their vehicle at DePaul Clifton Parking Deck located at 2330 N. Clifton, Chicago, IL 60614.
