Come join us on Sunday, October 20th from 4:30-6:30 at Bubbles Academy to celebrate Filipino American History Month! Hosted by Ria Pretekin @Urbanohana

Have fun with other Chicagoland families for a joyful celebration including Filipino food by The Taste of the Philippines, craft making by Fil-Am Learners, storytime by families in our community, and Filipino cultural performances by Whitney Young Asian American Club. There will be interactive and educational opportunities for the whole family!
Why should your family celebrate Filipino American History Month? Filipino History is American History! October commemorates the many ways that Filipino Americans have contributed significantly to American History – from serving in World War II to strengthening our labor movement. This celebration will share how Filipino Americans continue to be a part of the rich fabric of America today. Learn about the beauty of Filipino culture and help pass down stories for future generations.

TICKETS:
$15 per person, adults and children.
Children under 6 months are free.

Ticket includes: arts and crafts, storytime, songs and cultural performances, cultural exploration, photobooth and portrait opportunities and sampling of Filipino food
