Come join Chicago BIPOC Birders as we celebrate the Lunar New Year! We’ll explore Ronan Park and River Park to observe winter residents. Meet at River Trail Plaza on Lawrence at 3:00 p.m. We will walk about one mile and will stop to look for ducks along the Chicago River until about 4:30 p.m.

Remember to dress warmly and in layers. We’ll have some handwarmers available too.

Afterwards, we’ll have dinner at a nearby Korean restaurant (Kim's Home Cooking) to celebrate the year of the dragon. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

RSVP required. Let us know if you’re coming just for birding or for birding and dinner. Everyone will cover their own meal costs.

This event is for Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color of any experience level.
