SYNOPSIS:
A war veteran decides to venture out on his own to attend a funeral of his comrade-in-arms without telling his family. When his grandson sneaks along, a memorable road trip happens amongst a clash between generations.

Keyu Feng is a Writer, Director graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. He is known for capturing the essence of the times with his unique perspective and approach. In 2016, his debut short film, “Beauty and the Beast,” won the Grand Prize at the 4th Zhejiang Microfilm Festival. In 2023, his debut feature “A Summer’s Trip” was released and is an official selection of the Special Screenings Section of the 16th Osaka Asian Film Festival, the “Chinese New Wave” Section of the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival, and the Feature Film Competition Section of the 22nd San Diego International Kid's Film Festival. It was awarded the Outstanding Film Award and selected as one of the Highly Recommended Films of 2024 at the 2023 National Defense and Military Film Festival. It also won the Best Female Producer Award and Best Music Composition Award at the 4th Asian International Youth Film Festival, the Jury Award in the Domestic Feature Film Competition Section at the 5th Beijing International Children's Film Festival in 2024; and was nominated for the Annual Feature Film Award at the 2024 China Jintongxiang Children's Film Week.
