Specials of the night
š² Budae Jjigae (Army Base Stew)
Originating in the 1950s after the war, when food was scarce and Koreans combined surplus ingredients from U.S. bases into a stew. Made with processed meats like Spam, hot dogs, ham, beans, and cheese ā a dish born from necessity that became national comfort. Ours will include these iconic ingredients plus Akahoshi Ramen noodles.
š„¤ Banana Milk Punch Cocktail
Banana milk gained popularity during post-war hardship as an affordable fortified drink for children. When plain milk was unpopular, Binggrae launched banana milk in 1974 ā its sweet flavor and jar-shaped bottle turning it into a nostalgic cultural icon.
