Silver Career Management Webinar & Networking - II image

This is the second in a series of the Asian American Executive Network webinars especially designed to help executives entering later stages of their career.

This webinar will feature Amy Yip , an International Coach Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Certified Hudson Institute Coach. She is also one of the pioneer Mental Fitness Coaches to be certified through Positive Intelligence. She has coached a range of clients from executives to new leaders and individual contributors on finding their voice and the courage to speak up, building self-confidence, navigating change, discovering what they want next in their life and career, and identifying their authentic leadership style. Amy will discuss how to build Mental Fitness and Master Your Mind can help as you enter the next phase of your career. Here is her summary of her presentation:

Mental Fitness: Develop Mastery Over Your Own Mind

Do you believe you are in command of your own mind? Do you still live and respond from a place of anxiety, frustration, restlessness, guilt, shame, anger, even though you know it doesn't serve you?If so, then you are NOT in command of your own mind. All of your stress and negative emotions are not things you would CHOOSE for yourself. So if you aren’t choosing it then why is it happening? It’s because you aren’t running the show. You are not running your mind, your mind is running the show. And too often from saboteur mode. Mental Fitness is the X Factor! Your level of Mental Fitness is the best predictor of how happy you are and how well you perform relative to your potential. It’s the key to unlocking your ability to evolve, change and adapt as you figure out the next phase of your life and career.

We will unpack:

• What Mental Fitness is and Why it Matters

• The 3 core muscles at the root of mental fitness

• Practices to build your mental muscles

We will also have 2 special guests who have successfully nagivated these challenging waters as a panel to interact and discuss with participants on unique challenges and barriers facing them.

We will also have a special Networking session to bring the community closer together.
