About The Skokie Festival of Color

Festival of Colors is a very exuberant festival, complete with music, dance, food, and throwing of organic colored powders. The purpose of this event is to promote culture, diversity, inclusivity, friendship and unity in the community!

It will be a day for families to spend time with each other before ringing in the new school

Event History

In the past this color festival had been part of the Festival of Cultures, however, the participation got to be so large the community decided to make it its own separate event.

Event Highlights

The festival features family activities, a merchandise bazaar, ethnic arts and crafts, ethnic cuisine and food trucks, music and upbeat cultural entertainment, a dance party and the throwing of colors!
