The urgency of the time entails us to tell our stories in our own terms. Our next Talk Stories: An Asian American/Asian Diaspora Storytelling Show is coming up in a month. The show will take place at The National Cambodian Heritage Museum and Killing Fields Memorial at 7:30pm on Thursday August 16th. For ticketing information, please go to: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/talk-stories-an-asian-americanasian-diaspora-storytelling-show-tickets-48074844153?aff=ebdssbdestsearch. Our lineup includes Sonal Aggarwal, Thavary Krouch, Carly Oishi, Radhika Sharma Gordon, and Tony Ho Tran. We will also have music by Punisa Pov and improv by CLUB ASIA. Archy and I are honored that Talk Stories will be a parallel event for the 6th annual Asian American Theatre Conference and Festival, which will take place during the week of August 13-18 here in Chicago. Please check out the conference website https://caata.net/confest/confest2018/ for tickets and passes for shows and workshops. I will also be offering a storytelling workshop as part of the conference. Join us for a night of sharing stories, improv, music, and conversations. Don't miss it! See you soon.
