Please join the Vietnamese Association of Illinois in our celebration of Tết with a night of food, music, and festivities! Please join us in welcoming the Year of the Rat at our annual Tết (Lunar New Year) celebration!

The VAI 2020 Tết celebration will take place on Sunday, January 19th at Furama Restaurant — a mainstay of Vietnamese banquet-style dining in the Uptown community since 1985. We are expecting an attendance of over 450, including elected officials, funders, long-time supporters, and community members. VAI’s goal is to align our mission of commemorating our Vietnamese heritage with our unwavering commitment to serve all regardless of cultural background. Please join us in this occasion, featuring a variety of cultural performances, authentic Asian cuisine, and exciting raffle items.

VAI is honored to be a 501(c)(3) community-based social services agency serving immigrant, refugee, and asylee families in the State of Illinois. Your support enables us to continue our work, empowering thousands of families each year with immigration and legal services, in-home senior care, adult literacy and civic education courses, and year-round youth programming.
