Event Date: Saturday, June 7 · 6 - 7pm CDT

On Saturday, June 7 at 6:00 PM, Vaishnavi Patel--the New York Times bestselling author of Kaikeyi--will join Bookends & Beginnings for a discussion of her new novel Ten Incarnations of Rebellion, an epic and daring reimagining of 20th-century India.
In this speculative novel, set in an alternate version of India that was never liberated from the British, a young woman fights to change the tides of history. Praised by R.F. Kuang, Ava Reid, and Alka Joshi, this sweeping story is a testament to the power of self-determination.
This event will take place to 6:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a book signing. All of Vaishnavi's titles will be available for purchase at the event. Vaishnavi will be in conversation with Michelle N. Huang, Assistant Professor of English and Asian American Studies at Northwestern University.
Vaishnavi Patel is the New York Times bestselling author of Kaikeyi and Goddess of the River. She is a lawyer specializing in civil rights litigation, including issues of gender and racial justice. Ten Incarnations of Rebellion is her third novel.
