In the 2019 Kizuki Chicago Japanese Matsuri, we had an amazing time show casing many amazing food, culture, and DRINKS! over 16,000 Chicagoans joined us in the rain and the storm! and we want to continue the success in 2020 & kick start 2020 with the first annual Kanpai Chicago Japanese Matsuri!
The 2020 Kanpai Chicago Japanese Matsuri will be a beverage one day event that serves all different kind of alcoholic beverage from Japan, many parts of Asia and some excellent local breweries along with art & martial art performance!
The art & performance are lead by Stephen Toyoda from Japanese Culture Center and the food & beverage operations are lead by Kevin T Yu from Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya.
Guests will be able to purchase tickets & taste all kind of beverages from all over of Asia & Japan while getting exclusive discounts on food in the Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in the NEWCIY plaza!
