CTA RPM Tour – Discover Chicago’s Future in Motion, August 12, 2025 2-4PM

Join the CTA’s Red & Purple Modernization (RPM) Phase One Project Tour and experience firsthand one the agency’s most ambitious transit upgrades in history. The two-hour tour will feature a project overview from CTA engineers including an explanation of how the tracks were modernized with minimal disruption to Red Line service, a ride on the innovative Red-Purple Bypass, a stop at a newly opened state-of-the-art Red Purple Line station, and a visit to the RPM Community Office where participants will learn about the plans to activate the space underneath the tracks for the community.

The tour will be mostly outdoor, and the group will be moving around. Please check and prepare for weather conditions.
