A national rally to 

  • Commemorate death anniversary of an 84-year old anti-Asian attack victim, Thai grandfather Vicha Ratanapakdee and the multiple victims of anti-Asian violence and prejudice; 
  • Re-focus the public on the persistent issue of anti-Asian violence and prejudice at the one-year anniversary of the #StopAsianHate movement; and 
  • Inspire a conversation among Asian American leaders and TAKE ACTION about the next steps in advancing the Asian American movement. 


When: Sunday, January 30, 2022

Where: San Francisco, Chicago (virtual), New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia

How: Various live and virtual rallies on Jan. 30, 2022, national and local news coverage, op-eds, social media campaign, and a convening of API leaders.
