Accomplished Executive and Life/Career Coach Terry Samala de Guzman shares her story as told in her new book: Here I Am: Learning Along the Way.

Our esteemed panelists Aurora Austriaco, Clarita Santos, Johanna Mirpuri and Lesley Mendoza Temple, will join Terry in a conversation about:

• Building a fulfilling and sustainable life

To address growing community needs and concerns for immigrant and workers rights, AFIRE programming provides access to legal services, civic education, health education, job skills training, workshops, and more. AFIRE promotes a safe, inclusive, diverse, and inter-generational community through campaign work, collective action, building the leadership of people who are most affected by structural injustice, and organizing towards progressive social change.

* Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA)

The Chinese Mutual Aid Association (CMAA) is a pan-Asian 501(c)3 non-profit social services agency that helps Filipino immigrants and Filipino Americans of all generations with a full range of free and very low-cost services from in-home services assisting seniors keeping their dignity and independence while enjoying the comforts of their own homes, helping job seekers find employment, supporting individuals and their families with citizenship services, financial literacy classes, after school programs for youth, Young Women Warriors (YWW) mentoring program and much more.

* Filipino American National Historical Society-Greater Chicago Chapter (FANHS)

The Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) "preserves, documents, and presents Filipino American history and to support scholarly research and artistic works which reflect that rich past.”

* Filipino Young Leaders Program (FLYPRO)

The Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of high-performing, next-generation leaders that have a passion for advancing the Philippines and the Filipino people.

FYLPRO was established in 2012 by Former Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the United States of America, Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. and Mrs. Victoria J. Cuisia in cooperation with the Ayala Foundation Inc. * Philippine-American Cultural Foundation (PACF)

The Philippine American Cultural Foundation (PACF) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that promotes cultural educational, social and civic activities among Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the Midwest such as through hosting Philippine Fest "Piyseta Pinoy" Bolingbrook, the largest Filipino festival in the Midwest.

* The Sampaguita Group

The Sampaguita Group financially assists Filipino American women matriculated in colleges and universities in the United States by awarding partial scholarships and increases public awareness about the phenomenon called Educational Downward Mobility affecting second-generation (U.S.-born) Filipino Americans.
