Cameron Chung is officially the 2026 Gerber Baby, becoming the newest face of one of America's most iconic baby brands and marking a meaningful moment of Asian American representation. The 10-month-old from Minnesota was selected from thousands of entries in this year's annual Gerber Photo Search.
For Cameron's father, Alden Chung, seeing his son join the Gerber legacy is a dream come true. "I entered Cameron into the Gerber Photo Search because, to me, his smile reflects everything joyful and hopeful about watching him grow," he shared.
This year's contest centered on the theme "Behind the Baby," celebrating the dedication of parents and caregivers whose love often goes unseen. Cameron's winning photo captured more than a joyful smile. It marked a turning point for his family after months of navigating colic and a challenging postpartum experience for his mother, Rachael Olsen.

The photo was taken during a winter walk in Minnesota when Cameron flashed his first intentional smile. "Seeing Cameron's first true smile while we were out on a winter walk was pure magic," Rachael said. "It reminded us that even through the hardest days, there is so much joy waiting on the other side."
As the 2026 Gerber Baby, Cameron will appear in the brand's marketing campaigns and social media throughout the coming year. His family also received a $50,000 cash prize and a premium Gerber Childrenswear wardrobe package.
Cameron's journey is about more than becoming the newest Gerber Baby. It is a story of perseverance, hope, and the small milestones that can mean everything to a family. His smile also reflects the growing diversity of American families and offers a meaningful moment of representation for Asian American communities.
