Bring your family and friends to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Burnham Wildlife Corridor!

Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2026!

Join us on Sat, Sat 26, 2026 at 4:30 PM at the beautiful Set in Stone Gathering Space in the Burnham Wildlife Corridor.

Get ready for an evening celebrating the Harvest Moon with music, live performances, delicious Chinese mooncakes, archery, a native plant giveaway, fun activities, a lantern procession at 6:45pm, and much more. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn and join us for this important holiday in Chinese culture celebrating friends and family!

This year we are thrilled to be able to offer Mid-Autumn Festival attendees a free shuttle to and from the festival! Shuttles going to the festival will depart from and return to the Chinatown Branch Chicago Public Library. Shuttle rides will be available on a walk-up basis, first-come first-served. Elders and individuals with limited mobility will be given priority to board. We will update with a shuttle pick-up and drop-off schedule soon!

Please visit our Event Map for help finding the festival, free and paid parking options, and other tips. We'll see you there!

For the last 10 years, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago (CAMOC), the Chicago Park District, The Nature Conservancy, and the Field Museum’s Keller Science Action Center have partnered together as the Roots & Routes Initiative to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Burnham Wildlife Corridor on the lakefront.
