Peggy Nagae was the lead attorney for Minoru Yasui in reopening his WWII case, and she also led the successful campaign to win him a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015.
She is a co-founder of the Minoru Yasui Legacy Project, has served in various national leadership roles to advocate for the Asian American community, and continues to work for justice and a multicultural, inclusive democracy.
