ROAR Story Slam is a live storytelling competition by KoreanAmericanStory.org where six finalists share their Korean American story for at a chance at a cash prize up to $1,000. This year's theme is "Metamorphosis" and we can't wait for you to hear the stories in person.

Join us at 6:30PM for reception before the program begins! Big thank you to Korean American restaurant, Perilla, for being our food sponsor for the evening. They will be providing individual doshiraks (lunch boxes) so make sure snag to one! Vegetarian option available.

Reception 6:30-7:30PM

Show starts promptly at 7:30PM


  • General Admission: $35
  • Student w/ID: $25
  • Ticket w/meal: $50 for GA // $40 for Student (EXTENDED! Meal tickets will close on June 20th 12PM CDT)
  • Parking: $12 (limited spots available, specific information will be provided prior to the event)

NOTE: *Food will be given during reception (6:30-7:30PM)and only allowed in the dining hall. Food and drinks are NOT allowed in the theater. Please plan accordingly!*
