Sharing Stories: Intergenerational Conversations

These conversations will be an opportunity for Japanese Americans and others with a connection to  the incarceration, resettlement, and redress to share stories across generations. Facilitators will help participants to take turns listening, sharing, and asking questions in small, intimate groups.

People will be assigned to small groups of 10-15 people and groups will be set up to have multiple generations present. People are welcome to attend one day or attend both. This event is free of charge.

Pre-Registration is strongly recommended but walk-ins are welcome.

This event is part of the Japanese American National Musuem's Contested Histories Exhibit (http://www.janm.org/exhibits/contested-histories/), which will be in Chicago in May to bring artifacts made by Japanese Americans during the World War II incarceration.
