On June 24th, 2022, the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision, Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization, to overturn Roe v Wade. The decision now allows states to set their own abortion laws.

Join SAAPRI (South Asian American Policy & Research Institute) and the SABA North America's Advocacy Committee, SAWAN (South Asian Women Attorney's Network), and SABA Chicago for an important panel discussion on the South Asian Experience in a Post-Dobbs Reproductive Justice Landscape. We will hear from panelists from Planned Parenthood, ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), and the Aspen Institute as we discuss the real repercussions of the Dobbs decision and the end of Roe v. Wade on South Asians across the United States.

We will be holding this conversation on Tuesday, September 20th at 6:30 PM CST. This will be a virtual zoom event, so please RSVP using the link below. The zoom link will be sent to you shortly before the event. We look forward to virtually seeing all of you at the forum!
