Join CAMOC on Saturday, May 25th, from 1:00 - 7:00 pm for a special “Picnic in the Library with Museum Squatters” to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month.

We welcome you to experience our museum and library in an alternative way through artistic and performative re-imagining. You will be able to participate in tea ceremonies, have your fortune told, find wisdom treasures from books, play an exclusive video game stacking contents and concepts visually and sonically, touch some sculptures, try on some hats, pet 2D dogs, join tours of mythical animal watching and more! All activities are family-friendly, welcome to all, and free for all.

This event is part of the ongoing collaboration between 6018North and the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, co-hosted by a group of artists Shuo Cai, Yao Dong, Yicong Li, QianQian Liu, YiYi Liu, Jinlu Luo, Peixuan Ouyang, Zachery Sun, Yue Xu, JI Yang, Yezhou Zheng as a family.
