With the constant clamor within the society for the need to be inclusive, it is finally a step towards progress when a governmental department looks to further promote diversity in order to gain a fresh perspective. We at Chicago Asian Network are delighted to inform you that the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) of the state of Illinois opens its doors and makes certain positions available for application.

At the moment, the department is currently seeking the following:

1. Three (3) Supervisory Regional Counsel Positions at Cook County Juvenile Court

2. Three (3) Regional Counsel Positions (Tech II) at Cook County Juvenile Court

These are key positions within a governmental branch and we at CAN highly encourage those who have the capacity and capability to make a difference within the community to take this opportunity. It is about time that some legal voices come from the Asian American community and that these individuals be included amongst the staff of various governmental branches. This is only the beginning of an exciting change.
